90 Days of Soul Waking & Life Re-Making... New for 2018

Okay, friend... you’re here for a reason, because this spoke to you! I get it, because it is speaking to me too…

So, let’s just get right to it. I’m going to give you the nitty gritty basics of this revolutionary experience and then you can say HECK YES or HECK NO. For me, this is a GIANT HECK YES, but if this isn’t the time for you, I totally get it. If it is a HECK YES…you can keep reading!

Here’s the idea:

REBOOTING!! By simplifying and eliminating the things that cause the most stress, making time for soulful activities and experiences and opening life up to new possibilities. 

And the whole group of us worldwide will be doing it together. 

So how are we doing it, you ask?

A 90 day spending freeze

90 days without buying anything unnecessary - clothes, accessories, makeup, hobby supplies (for me, that will be clothes, makeup and art supplies) - with a tiny weekly budget for a drink or something special… $5 a week.

A 90 day pared down wardrobe

90 days with a pared down wardrobe…we will each choose a 5-10 tops, 3-5 bottoms and a few pairs of shoes each month and put the rest of our clothes in storage during the 90 days. We can rotate out our clothes when the month ends. When the 90 days is over, we decide what we want to bring back in our life.

For 90 days, we will choose a few basic foods to eat each week and only buy those foods, knowing exactly what we are going to eat for every meal. 

90 days of daily gentle decluttering activities

90 days of daily connection activities where we check in with each other in a Facebook group, talking about how it’s going, posting photos and joining in on challenges.

90 days of adventure challenges… because you’ll have a lot more time on your hands to do fun stuff once you’re not spending all of your time managing, washing, folding, dusting, cooking, fretting, deciding and shopping!!

Why would we ever do this?
I’m pretty sure you already know why, right? 

Because we all need some space to breathe and make some new decisions for our lives. 

It’s a rough time in humanity right now and everyone is feeling it. We have forgotten that we are a human family and we have forgotten what this life experience is for.

We need more time to do the things that fill us back up, and not weigh us down… and we need more time to do things TOGETHER.

We are weighed down with too much “stuff”, buried by decisions and choices and clutter, so we numb. It’s like we are walking through life asleep, on autopilot… it’s hard to be awake in this world, so we numb and bury ourselves with more and more things. 

There is a better way. Our souls know the way. Your soul is yearning for it… that’s why this called to you.

So this experience is about gently waking up and noticing our lives. Seeing our lives, appreciating our lives, and FEELING our lives. Then taking stock of our talents, our belongings, our time, energy, resources, our relationships. Then deciding mindfully and soulfully what we want to do with our resources… rather than being controlled by our stuff, we decide what stuff gets to make it back in our lives. We get to look around and see that we are not as alone as we thought we were. We get to see that there’s so much more to life than STUFF. 

Can you imagine paring things down so that you don’t even think about what to wear or what to eat or what to organize or what to buy? Let’s see what it’s like for the next 90 days.

Doesn’t that sound so freeing and feel SO GOOD? C’mon, let’s do it.

So what are we doing again?

90 days of not buying more stuff. 90 days of simplifying wardrobe down to a few things. 90 days of very simple food choices. 90 days of gentle decluttering. To make space and preserve energy and brain space for rebooting, recalibrating and reinventing your life in a way that feels right for you… that feels good and light and free.

Then, every week for 13 weeks, we will focus on EXPERIENCING a new part of our lives. There will be a podcast lesson to listen so you’re not stuck to a screen, videos to watch to show you how I’m doing it, fun assignments to get you out of your rut and into experiencing your life, and beautiful connection challenges to get you back into the human family. We are going to do this all together, because life has separated us way too much. 

We will be focusing on gently and soulfully rebooting, recalibrating, reorganizing and re-experiencing these parts of our lives, simply by opening our eyes to them.

Each week will bring a short, simple, easy and fun assignment in the following categories:

Ahhh, I weep a little bit as I write this all out. I want this so badly… I want to do this with you, too. I can’t wait to get started because it’s everything my soul has been longing for.

I want to make this as simple and easy as possible for you. So… I’ve made a workbook for you, (for us!) I’ve made 3 sets of cards for our activities and challenges and I’ve got it all planned out by the week. I’ve made it fun, simple and achievable at any level. You just need to be able to commit at least 15 minutes a day to it and you’re good to go. I will tell you upfront that I will be spending much more than 15 minutes a day because I’ve been planning for this for such a long time, but you really can join us and play along if that’s all you’ve got. We want you to be with us!

In case you’re wondering who the heck I am and why you’d want to do this course with me… allow me to introduce myself.

I’m Melody Ross. I am the cofounder of Brave Living and Brave Girls Club, where we make tools for living a meaningful life.  Before that, I was the founder and owner of Chatterbox, a company focused on documenting your life. I’m 46 years old and I’ve done a whole lot of living, good stuff and hard stuff, which means I’ve acquired a whole lot of stuff and I’m ready to reboot my life!

My husband and I have 5 children and 3 grandchildren, and have been married 27 years. Almost all of it has been wonderful. I host women’s retreats and he hosts men’s retreats here at our beautiful little ranch in Idaho.

I am an artist, a writer and an author. I’ve written tons of books and designed hundreds of products and written loads of life courses. I just started a podcast too!  I love what I do. My biggest goal in life is to remind the human family that we are actually all just souls living in human bodies, and that being a human is freaking hard so that’s why it’s almost always messy. I spend my career creating tools to help us to heal so that we can go on to help each other. Healing and helping, that’s where the good stuff is.
